On the occasion of the State of the Union address by the latest campaigning President, trying to save his image with ‘independent’ voters in order to get reelected, there was a poignant comment made on 11/29/10 by a caller on the Chris Plante Show on WMAL, AM 630, in Washington DC, talking about Obama, “… he has an idiot savant ability to read out-loud.”

Update. Following VP Biden’s call for $53B of new high-speed passenger rail spending yesterday (Feb 8, 2011), it appears that Biden also has an idiot savant ability, to stick his foot in his mouth. Is this guy kidding? More spending?
