A Reposting of My Review of My February, 2008 Suicide Conservatives Article

From time to time, I will repost this as, I continue to believe that the ’suicide conservatives’ that wanted either Clinton or Obama to be elected as President may have been mistaken. Their thinking was that a Republican loss would bring about another Ronald Reagan, to defeat another Jimmy Carter. I seriously doubt they correctly estimated the impact the Democratic Party controlled government would have in such a short period of time.

Yes, there are Tea Parties and yes, it looks like the Republican Party may move slightly to the right from it’s centrist position of November, 2008. A position it has occupied since it’s conservatism was watered down by all of the former Democratic Party infiltrators in the 1980’s and 1990’s. While there have been some positive affects on the Republican Party, since Obama has been President, if the Republican Party does not close it’s primaries to independents and Democrats, it will end up with another centrist candidate which will render any conservative advancement moot.
