Back on March 22, 2022, I posted the following comment on this site.

“Ukraine ??? | by MikesView”

“There are many facets to this. The fact that one country invaded an adjacent country, for no apparent reason to most of the world, is abhorrent. That said, before the war, steps were in play that could have dissuaded the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
In summer 2021, there was a $100M defense package in negotiation between USA and Ukraine which included significant numbers of Stinger anti-aircraft missiles and Javelin anti-armor (tanks) missiles. In early summer, Biden froze those negotiations. After a few weeks into the war the negotiations appeared to have resumed losing the deterrent value those additional weapons could have provided. The Ukrainians were fortunate that the Trump Administration had provided a significant number of Stingers and Javelins, to deter the Russians at that time.”

As you can see, $100M on pre-war deterrence, which would likely have given pause to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Instead, Biden suspended reason.

He has gone full on fanboy of the comedian that outlawed eleven rival political parties near the end of March 2022. Zelenskyy has shown so little respect to the taxpaying citizens of the U.S.A. that when he showed up to address a joint session of Congress, he did so in a sweatshirt.

Zelenskyy’s unfurling of the Ukrainian flag in the U.S. House chamber, to a swooning Nancy Pelosi, was beyond insulting. This dictator has now bilked our country out of over $130B in just a year, not to mention the depletion of our own armaments and weapon systems we need to deter and/or engage hostel advisories that Biden weakness has made more opportunistic. This is especially critical after Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal debacle.

The DNC controlled politicians in both parties and most of corporate media can not give a clear definition as to what our actual American interests are. They continue to mention NATO resolve, blah blah, … Ukraine is NOT in NATO. Their country withdrew it’s application to NATO in 2010. See below the Tucker Carlson video for a piece I wrote/assembled in Dec. 2022:

From a post I made on Dec. 14, 2022:

Concerning NATO, first in 2008, Ukraine requested application to become a member of NATO *. Then, after a pro-Putin government was elected in 2010, the new Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and the Parliament rescinded the request to join NATO **, they would only cooperate with NATO.

“In late 2013 and early 2014 public protests over corruption arose in Kyiv. After signing an agreement on February 21, 2014 that he (Yanukovych) would not run for re-election when his term expired, with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, a head of department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Russian observer Vladimir Lukin as witnesses, that evening Yanukovych was chased out of Ukraine by Obama State Department-backed neo-Nazi death squads.” ***

In May, 2014, Petro Poroshenko †, a businessman, TV news channel owner and oligarch was elected as President. He intended to re-annex the Crimea that had been taken over by Russia in early 2014.”

In 2019, with continued corruption and no headway on the Crimea, Poroshenko lost to the former comedian and actor, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
