Obama’s Jobs Czar Moves 115 Year Old Business Unit To Beijing | Bloomberg Businessweek

This post is in response to an email, I read today (thanks Woodie), about a news item from July, 2011.

Since Jeffrey Immelt became CEO of GE, just four days before 9/11/2001, 15% of US jobs at GE are now jobs overseas.

So, when President Obama announced in January, 2011, that Jeffrey Immelt would take over as chairman of Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, it was no surprise when, in July, 2011, Jeffrey Immelt announced that GE would be basing it’s 115 year old X-Ray business unit in China.

Immelt, another ‘Ivy League’ RINO, is a detriment to the USA. What does that say about his dear leader, now running for reelection?

And another thing. The Obama Administration and Congressional support of GE’s lobbying, under Immelt, for a forced conversion to dangerous and inadequate fluorescent lamp lights, is proof that the government and GE are tyrannical entities. GE is more interested in forcing the population to consume it’s product, rather than competing in a free market. A free market where LED lamp lights could eventually displace the incandescent bulb. The mercury laden compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) will require tons of new regulations about production, transport, use, disposal, and handling of heavy metals by the citizenry, etc., etc., etc..

Suffice it to say, I do not purchase anything GE, if I can help it, and definitely do not watch their propaganda machine called NBC, even though GE has this year reduced their interest to 49% of NBC. Since MSNBC (effectively, MSDNC) shows no appreciable change in it’s political perspective since GE became the minority owner, the new 51% owner, Comcast Corporation, is apparently also approving of the extreme leftist propaganda. So, we will not consume any Comcast products or services either.

I concur with their relocation to that central location.
